Space Geomatica and the Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering Lab, Technical University of Crete, Greece proudly announce that their joint research infrastructures distributed across the island of Crete have been characterized by the European Space Agency (ESA) as the Permanent Facility for Altimetry Calibration (PFAC) for its satellite altimetry missions such as Sentinel-6 and Sentinel-3.
